Hello! I’m Jade, a paper artist from Chesterfield.

I love to cut, stick and fold stories inspired by childhood memories.

Whether I’m creating pop-up books or building paper objects, I aim to connect people with their past and with each other, encourage interaction and spark conversation.

I am inspired by the worlds of children’s literature and paper engineering, but most of my inspiration comes from chatting to people about their memories, dreams and beliefs.

My love of paper influences the techniques I use in my creative work. I enjoy painting papers to collage with, to create playful, warm, nostalgic illustrations, as well as engineering moving paper objects that represent human experiences.

My goals for the future are focused on finding more ways to work with like-minded creatives, connecting with those wanting to explore memories, and making paper objects for people with a passion for physical interaction.
